Cartbloom is growing and today, we’re excited to welcome Matt Thornton as our new Head of Advertising Strategy, joining us at a pivotal moment as we scale our Walmart‑first agency model.

 Matt Thorton, head of advertising strategy Matt brings over a decade of experience in Retail Media, having driven growth and innovation across two of the industry’s most influential platforms: Amazon and Walmart. Most recently, as a Senior Partner Manager at Walmart Connect, he partnered with brands to unlock the full potential of retail media through strategies built for measurable impact.

Matt’s expertise spans search advertising, programmatic campaigns, and
custom retail media executions. He has a proven ability to build and refine full‑funnel strategies that not only drive ad‑attributed volume, but also strengthen organic relevancy and expand market share, a critical combination for brands looking to scale on Walmart Marketplace.

As Head of Advertising Strategy, Matt will help shape the next phase of Cartbloom’s growth by leading:

    • Advertising strategy & full‑funnel retail media frameworks
